PUMPKIN MAPLE SAUCE

Introduction

If you’re on a hunt for the very best Fall sauce for breakfast or brunch…my recipe’s got your back. Spiced with pumpkin spice, and orange zest and then bashed in pancakes, sweet breads or waffles, this pumpkin sauce recipe is one that ushers in Fall season, pumpkin already has a reputation for being a fan-favorite Fall fruit. We used it on my fluffy pancakes which we spiced with pumpkin spice and it was mean delicious. Now you can enjoy making this amazing sauce at home, but you’re not gonna believe it until you try!

Ingredients

2 tbs of canned pumpkin purée
2 tbs of I cannot believe it’s not butter or coconut oil for more flavor
1/4 cup of maple syrup
1/8 tsp of orange zest
1/8 tsp of pumpkin spice
A pinch of salt if you are using coconut oil
Vanilla

Directions

In a sauce pan, heat the oil.
Add the maple syrup.
Add the orange zest and pumpkin spice and bring it to a boil.
Turn off the heat and add the pumpkin purée, stir it until it is well incorporated.
Then drizzle it on top of your warm pancakes or waffles.
