HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY GINGER ALE
This new non-conventional ginger ale recipe is what I simply call “drink now and thank us later”. It’s unique and very healthy, especially good for the weight loss family. It is homemade; made with fresh ingredients; the beauty of it, is that you are pretty much aware of what you are drinking. Adding fresh strawberries makes the taste exceptionally flawless!
1 cup of fresh ginger chunks (or less)
1 cup of strawberries
1 & 1/2 cups of simple syrup ( 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water) For a sugar free version,use the combination of stevia and agave nectar to sweeten it.
Juice of 1 lemon
2 bottles of sparkling water
Blend and sieve the ginger.
Pour into a pitcher.
Blend the strawberries, sieve and pour into the pitcher.
Pour into the simple syrup or the sweetener to taste.
Pour in the juice of the lemon
Pour in the sparkling water.
Stir and leave in fridge to cool.
