This spicy recipe from 9jadelicacies.com adds an incredible depth of flavour and nutrition that isn’t always an option for meals. It’s yummy yummy and can cause havoc in the kitchen with its tempting aroma. It makes very good gizzard that are tender and delicious without stress. We welcome you to join in the finger licking Gizzards in red pepper and Tumeric ginger blend sauce.
1 1/2 pounds of gizzards
1 red pepper
2 Tbs of Tumeric Ginger blend
Maggi Knorr Cube
Hot pepper (Habanero)
In pot put the gizzards, onions, and water; cook until gizzard is done and the water reduced .
Then add knorr seasoning and salt. (The reason I’m adding salt and seasoning at this point is to avoid ending up with a salty meat. Sometimes, when you add the seasonings and salt at the initial stage, when the water reduces, you find out that the meat is a bit salty).
Blend the red pepper together with the hot pepper and pour the mixture into the meat, stir and cover; let it boil for some time.
Finally, add the Tumeric ginger blend. The reason for making it the last to be added is for the aroma and taste to remain potent.
Stir properly and let it boil just a bit more.
Turn off the heat and serve.
