Really I’m not exaggerating, but this sauce is as good as the first time you tasted fresh farm yoghurt. It is better than the canned sauce you are used to purchasing from grocery stores. It is fresh and so tasty, it changes your attitude to things around you. It has a positive effect that just puts smiles on your face all through the day. This delicious sauce can be served on waffles, pancakes or any of the quick breads that you can easily whip up. It can be an accompanying side dish for breakfast, brunch, dessert, or even dinner; who said one can’t have breakfast for dinner, I break that rule all the time. So have fun



2 large apples (Granny Smith and Honey Crisp apples)

2 Tbs of brown sugar

1/2 stick of butter

1 Tsp of of orange zest

1 Tsp of cinnamon




Peel and chop the apples into cubes.

Put the stove on a low heat.

Melt the butter and add the brown sugar.

Stir until the sugar starts to melt.

Add the apples, the orange zest and cinnamon.

Stir and add the orange juice.

Cook it until the apples start to soften a little bit and the sauce a little thicker.

Turn off and serve.
