Egg Rolls

I was craving the Nigerian egg rolls that I used to eat as a kid, so I asked my mom for her delicious recipe which she gladly gave me. I decided to put a spin on her recipe to enhance its most appealing features. I made my crust a little thicker because I like crust a lot and I also added sausage to mine. My kids so loved these new rolls that my daughter wanted it for lunch for school the next day.You cannot believe how easy it is to make this snack as long as you’ve got the right tools, but if you don’t have, no worries, work with your hands. I will break it into three sections for easy comprehension.


Oil for deep frying

1 stick of butter softened

3 cups of flour

1 egg


1 cup of milk (plus 3 extra tbs of milk)


12 eggs

1 tsp of nutmeg

ΒΌ cup of sugar

1 tsp of salt

1 tsp of baking powder
